Keith Oakley
Keith was born in Hertfordshire in the year of 1955.
After excelling at school in the field of Art he went on to have quite an extraordinary career in the jewellery trade.
He first worked as an apprentice for Graff Diamonds of Bond St, London before going on to work for Kutchinsky and specialising in diamond setting for Chopard Watches Switzerland.
He then spent 10 years in Paris, France working for the prestigious jewellers Cartier, becoming mostly involved in their rare and special commissions department, before working for a very private and exclusive company called Soubrenie et Bois who were experts in manufacturing Rare Clocks and Objets D'Art for the rich & famous.
After working in France, Keith returned to England and set up a workshop in Brundall, Norfolk, where he continued to design and manufacture State gifts and Objets D'Art for Asprey, Garrards (The Crown Jewellers), Mauboussin, Place Vendome Paris, and of course Cartier, as well as producing special commissions for some very elite and well known private collectors.
A small example of such work can be seen on display.
Now approaching the later years of his artistic career he has returned to his first love of painting in oils, and continues to supply an illustrious collection of original private commissions for many well known and formidable art collectors around the world.
